Incubator for Robotics? PARA launches an initiative for young people interested in robotics, AI, and drones
The Bulgarian Professional Association of Robotics and Automation (PARA) launches the first edition of its PARA Robotics Incubator.
The PARA Robotics Incubator is the first initiative in Bulgaria and the region aimed at young people with an interest in the fields of robotics, drones, IoT (Internet of Things), machine vision, and artificial intelligence. During the 6-month program, the participants will receive support from experienced mentors and engineers to develop further their projects.
The Robotics Incubators will also provide its young participants with access to top-notch laboratories and development centers in order to give them the full experience of working in the field and creating a complete prototype of their ideas.
The PARA Robotics Incubators will start on February 21, 2022, and will continue for a period of six months until August 21, 2022. Finally, on the Demo Day the finished projects will be presented to a panel of experts.

What is in for the participants?
PARA aims to attract 10 projects in the field of automation and robotics in the next two months.
“From PARA we have a mission to promote Bulgarian success in the field of robotics. We believe that robotics should be promoted at the level of an idea or a basic project. This is the reason why we created PARA Robotics Incubator,” shares the spokesman of PARA.
The participants will develop their skills and know-how in various aspects such as design thinking, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and testing technology. In addition, the students will be introduced to some important skills for entrepreneurs such as collaboration, sales, and marketing.
Who can apply?
Anyone over 14 who has ideas and projects that they want to develop into a working prototype is welcomed to take part in the PARA Robotics Incubator. The idea or project is in the fields of robotics, drones, IoT, machine vision, artificial intelligence, AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles), or related. Both teams and sole founders are accepted.
You can apply for the program here until January 31, 2022, by sharing details about your project, answering a few short questions, and sharing what you aim to achieve in the 6-month program.
