VOS.health: Your wellbeing companion that helps you feel great on the inside

This is the motto of the Czech startup VOS.Health. As mental health became a major concern during the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more people turned to alternative and digital ways to maintain their wellbeing at times of social isolation.
VOS.Health is a mobile app that aims to provide its users with all the necessary tools to improve their life and mental health. The app covers different aspects of one’s emotional and mental wellbeing such as overcoming mentally challenging situations, mood analysis, maintaining relationships, meditating, self-love and self-acceptance. The app offers detailed reports and analytics and enables its users to keep track of their well-being with different journaling and self-monitoring techniques.
The VOS.Health platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to enable evidence-based and accurate analytics to its users and allow them to adjust their lifestyle based on smart-tech recommendations. Keeping up with the current blockchain trend, the app will soon offer the first-ever wellbeing NFT collection with 9.999 digital “pet” avatars that assist with mental health support.
The app is accessible in over 9 languages for both iOS and Android users. With over 100.000 users worldwide, the team aims at reaching 1 million users by the end of 2021. Founded in 2020, the company currently has over 14 employees and has established a diverse team that is a mixture of professionals in the area of mental health and technology. Operating from Prague and Zurich, the company targets mainly English-speaking markets such as Australia, the UK, and the US.
In July 2021, the VOS.Health team raised €800.000 funding in a seed investment round led by Milton and Reflex Capital. The money was used to develop further the mental health app.

As part of the CzechAccelerator program of the CzechInvest agency, the VOS.Health team is currently accelerating in the US Market Access Center. The startup will spend the next 3 months learning from the best experts in Silicon Valley. At the beginning of September 2021, the CzechAccelerator sent 6 startups to 3 destinations – London, New York, and San Francisco.
“San Francisco and Silicon Valley are global symbols of business, technology and innovation, which naturally attract Czech founders. More than half of the startups that CzechInvest helped with foreign expansion go to the United States, and most of them go here. It’s not just the concentration of venture capital that is the highest here in the world. The developed business infrastructure and access to the “know how” of the local tech community, which has accumulated here over the years, have also played an important role,” shared Anna Hight, director of CzechInvest’s foreign representation in San Francisco.
